Petroleum prices sharply drop

Retail petrol prices have decreased by VND730-1,100 per litre following the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Retail petrol prices decreased by VND730-1,100 per litre from 3 pm on Friday following the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The retail prices of E5 RON 92 and E5 RON 95 petrol declined by VND830-1,100 per litre, respectively. Meanwhile, the price of diesel and kerosene fell VND1,050 and VND870 per litre respectively. Mazut oil saw a decrease of VND730 per kilo.

Petroleum prices have further dropped 


With the price drop, a litre of E5 RON 92 is now at a maximum VND22,080 and the price is VND22,800 for E5 RON 95, VND17,330 for diesel, VND16,320 for kerosene and VND15,740 for mazut oil.

On November 25, petroleum prices were also reduced by between VND330-1,090 after five consecutive price rises with the highest rise seen on October 26.
