Petroleum prices increase

Domestic retail petroleum prices increased at 3 pm today, June 13, after a decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of biofuel E5 RON92 increased by VND170 to VND21,310 per litre, while RON95 rose by VND260 to VND22,230 per litre.

Domestic petrol prices have increased again after two consecutive cuts. So far this year, petrol prices have risen 13 times and fallen 11 times.

Diesel prices increased by VND220 to VND19,640 per litre; kerosene grew by VND300 to VND19,850 per litre. Meanwhile, mazut prices decreased by VND400 per kilogramme to VND16,880 per kilogramme.

The petroleum stabilisation fund was not used during this round of adjustments, except for mazut oil.

The domestic fuel price hikes followed the rise in the global market over the recent days.
