
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, a total of 1,024,063 students registered for the test, an increase of over 20,000 compared to last year.
Around 2,270 examination locations across the country with 43,000 exam rooms would be used. Approximately 250,000 people have been mobilised to organise the exams.
The ministry has also set up 63 inspection teams with nearly 8,000 members to supervise and check the organisation and marking activities of the exams in 63 localities nationwide.

As scheduled, the two-day exams will begin on June 28 with literature and maths tests, and conclude on June 29 with the tests of social sciences, natural sciences, and foreign languages. The exam results will be used for high school graduation and university entrance consideration.
