According to the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment under the Ministry of Health, Hanoi has 4,651 Covid-19 patients, including 3,902 or 83.9 percent of which are asymptomatic or having only mild symptoms. Another 699 have medium symptoms and roughly 50 are in critical condition.

Experts said that the high coverage of the Covid-19 vaccination has helped to reduce the rate of patients with worsened conditions.
Over the recent days, Hanoi has continued witnessing a sharp rise in Covid-19 infections. On Monday, the city detected up to 600 Covid-19 cases.
Hanoi has arranged three levels of Covid-19 treatment. The first is local medical stations and at home, the second and the third are city hospitals and central hospitals.
According to an official from the Hanoi Centre for Disease Control, the city will have flexible measures to respond to the pandemic situation and will not apply tight social distancing measures as previously.
