Market management forces, police, border guards, and the 389 Steering Committee of Tay Ninh's districts, towns, and cities confiscated these cigarette packs throughout this year in smuggling cases.

The destroyed contraband cigarettes include different brands, with Hero, Jet, and 555 brands accounting for the majority with 54,000 packs.
The destruction was conducted at the waste treatment facility of Tay Ninh Environmental Technology Joint Stock Company in Tan Chau District. Tay Ninh authorities and representatives from the Vietnam Tobacco Association closely monitored the process.
