The 7th International Exhibition on Cycles and Spare Parts is being held in Hanoi, displaying a range of old bikes from different countries.

The 7th International Exhibition on Cycles and Spare Parts is being held in Hanoi, displaying a range of old bikes from different countries.  

The event will end on November 18.

The event attracts more than 100 bicycles from China, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Lots date back from the late 19th to early 20th century.

European-style Alcyon Classic motorcycles were produced in 1910 and now have the price of USD11,000. Alcyon Classic motorcycles use curoa belts and a two-stroke engine.

A wooden-made rim bicycle was made in France by the late 19th century. The vehicle has been kept almost undamaged.

 The bicycle’s brake pads are made from oak tree bark and the saddle is made from leather

It is also equipped with two leather panniers

A Peugeot bicycle was made early the 20th century. It is simply designed with a wooden rim. It is worth around USD7,000.

The exhibition also shows spare part stalls.
