According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, northern localities are experiencing hot weather of 36-38 degrees centigrade. Some mountainous areas have seen temperatures of more than 39 degrees centigrade.
The northern region of Vietnam has been forecasted to see rain with strong winds
Haiphong City and Quang Ninh Province have seen temperatures of 33-35 degrees centigrade.The north would continue witnessing hot weather on July 19, but the hot spell would end from the evening.
Localities from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen Province have also experienced hot weather with highest temperatures of 39 degrees centigrade.
Rain however has been predicted for localities from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan.
The hot weather would last in the central region until July 20.
In the days to come, the Central Highlands and southern region would continue facing rain.
