The northern region of Vietnam has been forecasted to experience warmer weather from January 30 with temperatures of between 20-22 degrees centigrade.
According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the northern region saw the lowest temperature of 12-15 degrees centigrade in the early morning of January 30. The temperature would then increase to 22 degrees centigrade in the early afternoon.
Some areas in Hanoi are facing light rain.
The temperature in northern localities would rise to 28 degrees centigrade by this weekend.
Meanwhile, the cold front has also weakened in the central region. Localities from Danang to Binh Thuan have seen hotter weather.
The recent cold wave in the north has killed hundreds of livestock in mountainous provinces such as Lang Son, Cao Bang and Bac Kan.
