Foreign Ministry Vice Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang confirmed the information at a regular briefing in Hanoi on October 23.

During the briefing, Ms Hang also informed about Vietnam’s external affairs in the time ahead and answered queries on issues of public concern.
Regarding the information on Vietnamese citizens who have registered for a climb up the mountain in late September and early October, the Nepali Embassy said it is actively clarifying information on these matters.
