Over the past week, more dead fish have been washed up on a beach in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue's Phu Loc District.
According to the Phu Loc District's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development it has co-operated with the provincial Veterinary Department to take samples of the dead fish for testing.

The dead fish found along the 1km-beach of Loc Vinh Commune
Residents in Loc Vinh commune have collected around 30kg of dead fish along the local 1km-beach in recent days. Much of the found dead fish are ulcerated, showing signals of being contracting skin diseases.
Loc Vinh was also among localities in Thua Thien-Hue Province affected by the mass fish deaths in April caused by the toxic discharge from Taiwan's Formosa Group's steel plant in Ha Tinh Province.
Formosa admitted to its responsibility for the massive pollution and pledged USD500 million in compensation following a three-month investigation.
