Police in central Quang Binh Province are investigating allegations a 14-month-old boy was abused by his teachers at a local kindergarten.

Cu Hoang Phi L's parents allegedly noticed their child was crying more than usual and was scared of strangers. They found bruises on his body.
L's parents examined cameras at Son Ca Kindergarten in Dong Hoi City and allegedly found evidence that three teachers pinched his ears and used a spoon to hit his face and hands while feeding him. It is alleged his feet were tied together, a cloth shoved in his mouth and a teacher pushed him to the ground.
Three teachers allegedly told L's parents that the boy would not sleep and cried all the time.

Tran Thi Thuy Hang, head of the Son Ca Kindergarten, said two of the accused teachers had been at the kindergarten for four months and a year respectively, and the third was a trainee.
Hung said she always monitored the classroom cameras and had only left her office for ten minutes on the day the abuse allegedly took place.
Nam Ly Ward police are investigations are continuing.
