The awards are the flagship programme of the Vietnam ESG Forum, an annual initiative launched by Dantri in 2024 to recognise outstanding ESG performance and promote sustainable business models across Vietnam.

Interest from the business community has grown steadily since the programme's debut. The Vietnam ESG Awards recognised 31 organisations in 2024 and a further 32 businesses and organisations in 2025 for their achievements in ESG implementation.
The Vietnam ESG Forum has become a platform for companies, policymakers and experts to exchange practical experience, showcase successful ESG models and discuss innovative approaches to sustainable development. The awards aim to reinforce the message that ESG is no longer viewed solely as a compliance requirement, but as a driver of long term competitiveness, improved access to capital, market expansion and sustainable growth.
For the 2026 edition, the assessment criteria have been reviewed and refined by the Awards Evaluation Council to place greater emphasis on linking ESG implementation with sustainable business growth and corporate competitiveness.
In addition to measuring performance across the three ESG pillars, Environmental, Social and Governance, the updated framework evaluates how effectively ESG is embedded in corporate strategy, its impact on business operations, innovation, the application of science, technology and artificial intelligence, and the long term value created for communities and the wider economy.

The Vietnam ESG Awards 2026 form part of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2026, which will continue to support businesses in their sustainability transition while encouraging innovation, stronger corporate governance and long term value creation.
Organisers said they hope this year's programme will identify and celebrate more exemplary sustainability initiatives, helping position ESG as a key driver of competitiveness for Vietnam's business community.
The Vietnam ESG Forum has been held annually by Dantri since 2024. Its programme includes conferences, panel discussions, company visits and the Vietnam ESG Awards ceremony honouring organisations that demonstrate outstanding ESG performance.
