In the first set of the match, Linh, who ranks No. 23 in the world, took the lead with a score of 21-13 by playing an aggressive attacking game against the Thai rival, who stands at world No. 14.

In the second set, Linh continued to dominate the match and knocked out Intanon with a final score of 2-0 to enter the next round.

If the Vietnamese player goes on to win the tournament then she will pocket a total of VND400 million.

After the conclusion of the tournament in Germany, she will continue to compete in consecutive events in France, the UK, Switzerland, and Spain.
