Lighting up hope

Images that capture the courage and fighting spirit of Agent Orange victims in Vietnam is now on display at the War Remnants Museum in HCM City.

Images that capture the courage and fighting spirit of Agent Orange victims in Vietnam as they struggle to overcome great adversity is now on display at the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, 28 Vo Van Tan Street, District 3.

Titled Thap len niem hy vong (Lighting up hope), the exhibition is a collection of 53 photographs taken by both local and international photographers. It commemorates the National Day for Agent Orange Victims that is observed on August 10 every year.

During the exhibition, Agent Orange victims will also perform music and demonstrate the art of making paintings with precious stones.

The Ho Chi Minh City Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin is also cooperating with Saigon Media in holding several activities to commemorate the day like an exhibition on District 1’s Dong Khoi Street featuring nearly 40 big-size photos of social efforts to help the victims.
