Police in Khanh Hoa Province said on April 3 they had coordinated with relevant agencies to receive two Vietnamese nationals deported from the United States, who arrived at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi.

The individuals were deported for violating local laws and failing to meet residency requirements, and were handed over to Vietnamese authorities in accordance with regulations.
Following their return, provincial police verified their identities, provided initial support and transferred them to local authorities and families to help stabilise their lives and support reintegration into the community.
Khanh Hoa police said the number of Vietnamese citizens deported from abroad has been rising in recent years, with most cases involving Cambodia, the United States, Thailand and Indonesia.
In the first three months of the year, the province received 17 deported Vietnamese nationals, including seven from Cambodia, eight from the United States, one from Thailand and one from Indonesia.
Authorities have urged citizens travelling abroad for work, study or residence to comply strictly with local laws and avoid illegal activities, particularly those related to unlawful residence and employment, to prevent legal consequences such as fines, detention or deportation.
