According to a representative from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the visit to the historical site and social welfare activities during Tet not only carry profound humanitarian significance but also provide an opportunity for officials and public servants in the sector to reflect on their traditions and enhance their sense of responsibility in carrying out assigned tasks, especially as the Ministry of Home Affairs is implementing many important tasks related to organisational restructuring, public service, and civil servants.

Alongside the incense offering, the delegation presented Tet gifts to disadvantaged families in Tan Trao Commune.

The gifts demonstrate the Ministry of Home Affairs' care and sharing with local residents, helping families celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026 in a warm and compassionate atmosphere.

Giang Tuan Anh, Secretary of the Tan Trao Commune Party Committee, stated that Tan Trao Commune was recently merged from three former communes: Tan Trao, Trung Yen, and Kim Quan, all areas with a revolutionary tradition. He noted that thanks to the attention from the central government and the province, and the efforts of local Party committees and authorities, the socio-economic life of the commune has seen positive changes.

However, Tan Trao remains a remote commune, and residents still face many hardships. Therefore, the Ministry of Home Affairs' visit and gift-giving programme not only provides material support but also offers significant spiritual encouragement to local officials and people.

“This is a motivation for us to continue striving to develop our homeland of Tan Trao, making it increasingly prosperous and worthy of its status as the Capital of the Liberated Zone and the Capital of Resistance,” he said.
