The central tourism hubs of Thua Thien-Hue, Danang and Quang Nam will co-operate to further boost their tourism development through a Three Localities, One Destination campaign.
At a recent meeting on tourism co-operation held in Thua Thien-Hue Province, Dinh Hai, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam Province, said the localities will jointly attend international fairs in Hanoi, HCM City and in Japan and Germany to promote their tourism offerings.

They will jointly set up a tourism website, a map and a handbook for the region. The localities will adopt a common slogan and logo and build a common tourism database related to the hotel market and projects calling for investment.
According to Hai, the joint efforts will also focus on improving the quality of human resources in the sector along with better supervision of tourism services.
Phan Tien Dung, Director of Thua Thien-Hue Province's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said the province will focus more on Chan May-Lang Co tourism site in Phu Loc District to ease pressure for the central area of Hue City. The province will develop more tourism services in rural areas and lagoons, taking the advantages of the Huong River.
Meanwhile, Quang Nam Province will develop more community and ecological tourism products. Maps showing local traditional handicraft villages will be introduced to travellers.
