Hoang Huong Ly who was in the Top 5 of Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 will represent Vietnam at the Miss Tourism International 2021 pageant which is scheduled to be held in Malaysia in December.
Hoang Huong Ly who was in the Top 5 of Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 will represent Vietnam at the Miss Tourism International 2021.
Born in the central highlands province of Gia Lai, Huong Ly, 25, is 1.75 metres tall and has body measurements of 86-58-96cm.
Ly said that she did not have much time for preparations, but with her experience, efforts and determination, she was confident to do well at the competition.
"I’ll try my best to introduce our beautiful country and its great potential for tourism development," she stressed. "I’ll also call for action to protect the environment and preserve the unique cultures of every country."
Country director of the Miss Tourism International 2021 in Vietnam, Pham Duy Khanh said that Hoang Huong Ly was a good choice for the competition as she met many of the criteria.
"After the Miss Sea Vietnam 2016, Hoang Huong Ly has had a good career as a model," he said. "She has also been active in social activities. At present, she has a good body and catwalk experience. I believe that she’ll do well at the competition."
Miss Tourism International is an annual beauty pageant that has been organised since 1994 in Malaysia with participation from some 80 countries and territories.
While many beauty pageants have been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Miss Tourism International 2021 will be held online in Malaysia from December 18.
