The mountainside villas at the Sunset Villas and Resort are facing landslides.

The mountainside villas are being completed at the Sunset Villas and Resort.

According to vice chairman of the Tan Vinh Commune People's Committee, Nguyen Phung Chien, landslides have been occurring in many areas including the Sunset site since the Typhoon Yagi.

"The landslide at Sunset's project has affected some surrounding households so we've had to ask the investor to negotiate with the affected families to solve the problems," Chien said.

The Sunset Villas and Resort project has 150 villas and half of them have been completed and sold to customers while the remainder are nearing completion.

Many of the villas have seen their construction work including swimming pools, yards, or paths damaged by the landslide.

The project's investor, the Hoa Binh Sunset Tourism Investment Company, said that they are trying to deal with the landslide and would take measures to prevent future incidents.
