By the morning of June 12, around 10 landslide spots were recorded along Hoang Sa Road, which leads to the peninsula. In areas near the Dong Dinh Museum and Linh Ung Pagoda, soil, rocks, and fallen trees had completely blocked the road.
At several points, boulders weighing several tonnes tumbled down from upper slopes.

Danang Bridge and Road JSC and the Son Tra Peninsula and Danang Beaches Management Board mobilised workers and equipment to begin clearing debris. Specialised vehicles are being used to remove large rocks to ensure traffic safety.
Elsewhere, a rockfall and two fallen trees blocked sections of the Yet Kieu-Dinh Ban Co-Bai Bac route. Four separate landslides occurred near the Le Van Luong intersection on Hoang Sa Road, while two more hit Tien Sa Road, damaging drainage ditches and felling trees.
Routes such as Bai Bac–Cay Da and the Suoi Da branch road were unaffected. However, for safety reasons, authorities have temporarily closed many routes, including Yet Kieu-Dinh Ban Co-Bai Bac, Bai Bac-Heritage Banyan Tree, and Tien Sa-Dinh Ban Co.
Crews continue to clear debris, and residents and tourists are advised to avoid travelling in the affected areas.
The Danang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has asked tour operators to suspend visits to Son Tra until all damaged routes are restored.
