Heavy rains forecasted for northern region
The rains have been happening in many northern localities since May 10, including Hanoi. On May 11-12, the rains would expand to northern central provinces.
Violent winds and hail during the rains have been also predicted.
According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the northern and central regions would face more hot days in the last two weeks of this month.
The temperature of this year’s summer would be 0.5-1 degree centigrade higher than that of previous years
