The project is scheduled to take place from October 27 to November 30, and will feature two plays which are expected to involve the participation of around 5,000 students and teachers.
As part of the project, students will also have the opportunity to take part in drawing and play writing contests with a focus on the protection of endangered species.
The project is part of a larger campaign end the trade of rhino horns and instilling the youth with a sense of respect for the wildlife of Vietnam.
Internationally, the illegal rhino horn trade reached an alarming level when up to 1,000 rhinos were killed for horns in South Africa in 2013. According the South African Ministry of Water and Environmental Affairs, in the first nine months of 2014, at least 787 rhinos were killed in the country, compared to just 13 in 2007.
