Residents in Zone 1, or red zone, must stay where they are. From September 8, people who come into this zone without travel permits will be strictly fined.

On September 6-7, people were only reminded about lacking the required travel permits when going into the red zone.

Under local authority instruction, people should go out only in necessary cases. They also need to stay in their zone.

People who have symptoms such as fever, cough and sore throat need to urgently contact local medical agencies for Covid-19 testing.

Hanoi People's Committee will test all local residents in order to curb the outbreak before September 15.
