The 1,328-square-metre villa located at 13 Phan Huy Chu Street was previously the headquarters of the Ministry of Health’s National Institute for Food Control before it was handed over to Hoan Kiem District People’s Committee.

Up to 17 households are living on the villa’s third floor, but they will soon be relocated to make way for the Vo Thi Sau Primary School.
The two other land plots located on 43F-47C Ngo Quyen Street and 36A Tran Hung Dao Street in Hoan Kiem District will also be used for the school project.
The site clearance of the project will be conducted in the fourth quarter of this year. The construction will be implemented between 2023 and 2024, using the local budget.
The villa at 13 Phan Huy Chu Street has seriously deteriorated, posing dangers for residents.
