Hanoi boosts bus services for Spring National Fair 2026

Hanoi will add more than 360 bus trips a day on six routes to serve visitors to the Spring Fair 2026, strengthening public transport links to the Vietnam Exposition Centre in Dong Anh Commune.

From February 2 to 8, the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operations Centre will roll out the plan to meet rising travel demand during the fair.

Two existing routes, 43 and E10, will operate alongside four additional services. A total of 34 buses will run 362 trips daily, covering five main corridors from the city centre and key gateways.

Services from the central area will depart from Kim Ma-Hao Nam (Route 43) and Times City (E08TC). Eastern routes will start from Ocean Park (E10), while the west will be served from Yen Nghia Bus Station (02TC) and Smart City (E09TC).

Southern services will depart from Giap Bat Bus Station (32TC). The northern route will operate Route E10 from Noi Bai International Airport.

All additional buses will display signs reading “Bus service to Vietnam Exposition Centre” for easy identification. The routes will pick up and drop off passengers at terminals and all scheduled stops, easing traffic pressure and facilitating visits and shopping at the fair.

The Spring Fair 2026 takes place from February 2 to 13 and is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm.

According to the organisers, the fair is a national-level trade promotion event, marking the launch of an annual series of national fairs. It serves as a key highlight in efforts to stimulate consumption, develop the domestic market and promote Vietnamese brands during the Lunar New Year 2026 - the Year of the Horse, while fostering investment, trade and cultural connectivity.

The event brings together 2,500 enterprises with 3,000 booths, spanning more than 100,000 square metres of indoor space and over 45,000 square metres outdoors. As a large-scale commercial and service event, the Spring Fair 2026 showcases Vietnamese cultural identity through a range of artistic activities featuring well-known performers.
