The incident happened at around 10 am this morning, May 28, at a restaurant in Kinh Mon Town.
A fire occurs at a restaurant in the northern province of Hai Duong, killing one person and injuring another on May 28.
Bui Thi Hoa, 30, owns the 150-hectare restaurant in Kinh Mon Town’s Quang Thanh Commune.
When the flames broke out, five people were inside the house, including Hoa and her two daughters, one 15 and the other 11.
Upon discovering the case, residents attempted to extinguish the fire and called for firefighters for the rescue.
Right after being reported, firefighters came to the scene, and around one hour later, the fire was brought under control.
Hoa’s 15-year-old daughter died on the site; meanwhile, her other daughter was sent to the hospital with severe injuries.
Around 30 square metres of the restaurant were ruined by the fire.
The police suspected a gas leak in the kitchen had caused the fire.
