Under the latest adjustment, E5 RON92 rose by VND 310 per litre and RON95 by VND 270, setting retail prices at VND 19,770 and VND 20,360 per litre, respectively.
Similarly, diesel rose by VND 450 per litre to VND 18,350, kerosene by VND 410 to VND 18,220, and mazut by VND 150 per kilogramme to VND 15,260.
The two ministries did not use the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund for this price revision.
Domestic fuel prices have risen for the second consecutive session, although they remain at their lowest level in over four years, comparable to those seen in June 2021. Since early this year, RON95 has seen 20 hikes and 16 cuts, while diesel recorded 17 increases and 17 decreases.
