The incident happened at around 12:10 pm at a raw water pumping station of the company which is located at Don Chau Commune, Duyen Hai Town.
The scence of the accident
According to the initial information, the fatalities were caused by gas suffocation during the sludge extraction process at the pumping station.
Despite being taken to a local hospital, they died just hours after. The victims are Nguyen Van Quy, 30; Tang Toan Quoc, 28; Kim Minh Thuan, 27 and Kien Ngoc Den, 26 and all are from Tra Vinh Province.
The company is co-operating with local authorities to identify the cause of the accident.
