Trieu Quan Su
This is not the first time Su escaped his prison. On August 24, 2012, Su was arrested and face a life sentence for murder and robbery and desertion. On November 8, 2015, he used a sharp object to saw the window bars and escaped. He was found and arrested a month later.
On June 3, he escaped prison for the second time at 2.30 pm. He continued to commit two more robberies while running towards Hai Van Pass in Danang and Thua Thien-Hue. Seeing a railway staff member was working alone at the level crossing, he took her mobile phone. As he crossed the Highway 1 to Binh Chanh Commune he took a motorbike from a local man.
On June 4, he was signalled to pull over by the police at a checkpoint in Lien Chieu District, Danang City, however, he left the motorbike and ran into the woods. Su was on the loose for 15 days before he was caught on June 18.
