A delegation of representatives from Dantri/DTiNews, enterprises, agencies and benefactors on October 13 came to help the two flood-ravaged provinces of Quang Binh and Ha Tinh.
They brought these provinces donations worth a total VND2 billion (USD 100,000), including both cash and necessities such as school equipment, food and clothes.
The mission includes cadres from Hanoi Medical University and Hanoi University of Pharmacy which have offered preventive medicine and examinations for people in Huong Khe District in Ha Tinh and Quang Trach District in Quang Binh over recent days.
Cadres and doctors from Hanoi Medical University and Hanoi Medicine University Hospital had contributed a combined VND100 million to these districts.

Joining hands with community support, Dantri/DTiNews will actively support the flood victims in the central provinces and also grant over 2,000 items of necessity such as food, clothes and books for them.
Over the past days, the editorial office of Dantri/DTiNews has received many material and spiritual supports from readers, enterprises and benefactors nationwide to flood ravaged households in Ha Tinh and Quang Binh.
In the late afternoon of October 12, Tong Duc Hoa, Deputy Director of Hai Tien Paper Joint Stock Company (located in Sai Dong B Industrial Park, Long Bien District, Hanoi) brought 45,000 notebooks and VND10 million to the Dantri/DTiNews editorial office for the flood victims.
“With the national tradition of solidarity, we hope that this gift will partially help many local children to return to schools," Hoa said.
The delegation has also attended a programme named “Sharing with the central region” and will help households in Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces to build houses after the floods.
