Bui Trong Bang is staying at Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi for the pancreatic cancer treatment, while his 11-year-old son Bui Quoc Quynh is being treated for leukaemia at the National Institute of Hematology & Blood Transfusion.

Dr Do Manh Hung from Viet Duc Hospital said that Bang is in critical condition as the tumour has widely spread, so, doctors could not operate. The current treatment is expected to help extend his life.
Tran Thi Van was extremely shocked at the pain of her family, but she has to try to take care of her husband and her son. Meanwhile, the family is so poor to afford the treatment.

The donation of VND137.6 million has been granted to Van at the National Institute of Haematology & Blood Transfusion.
