The event, organised by Hai Chau Ward authorities on May 16, brought together nearly 20 booths representing 137 businesses, vocational schools and training institutions, offering more than 9,000 job vacancies and 173 training programmes.
The programme aims to help students, young people and workers access career guidance and labour market information amid digital transformation and international integration, while strengthening links between employers and vocational training providers.

Participants included former soldiers, former offenders reintegrating into the community and residents affected by the ward’s pavement clearance and urban order campaign.
According to organisers, the fair was expected to attract more than 2,000 students and job seekers.
Participating organisations included the Danang Employment Service Centre, Danang College, the College of Commerce, FPT Polyschool and businesses operating in sectors including services, healthcare, finance and printing.
In addition to recruitment activities, the event also offered vocational counselling, student admissions guidance, job loan consultations and career skills demonstrations, including bartender training activities organised by vocational schools.
Phan Huu Phung, vice chairman of Hai Chau Ward People’s Committee, said labour shortages in skilled sectors and growing mismatches between labour supply and demand highlighted the need for better career orientation and workforce allocation.
