Danang International Airport’s new terminal inaugurated

Danang International Airport new terminal was officially inaugurated Friday after 17 months of construction.

Danang International Airport new terminal was officially inaugurated Friday after 17 months of construction.

Work on the USD154 million terminal started in November 2015 and was completed in April this year.

The newly-opened international terminal at Danang Airport

The terminal is aimed accommodate 1,800 passengers at peak hours and serve 4-6 million passengers annually.

Meanwhile, the current terminal will be reserved for domestic flights.

Vietnam’s budget carrier VietJet also launched its Danang-Seoul route at the ceremony.
