According to a report from local police, some neighbours found Nguyen Dinh Hien, 62, and his 56-year-old wife Vo Thi Tuong, dead with multiple injuries at their house at 7.30 am on November 25. Hien was lying on his bed while his wife was found in the yard.
Initial investigations showed that Hien and Tuong died from injuries after being stabbed.
The couple has four children who all live and work far from their house. The wife had just returned from the hospital where she was treated for depression.
Police are further investigating the case.
