Cold wave to affect northern region

The northern region of Vietnam has been forecasted to see a cold snap from Friday evening, the National Centre for Hydrometeorology Forecasting reported.

According to the centre, from Friday evening, mountainous areas would become colder and the following day the cold weather would expand the whole northern and northern central regions.

The northern region of Vietnam has been forecasted to see a cold snap from Friday evening.


The cold spell would cause the temperature in the north to drop to 16-19 degrees centigrade and even below 10 degrees centigrade in mountainous localities.

Between November 28 and December 1, localities in the central, Central Highlands and southern central regions would see rain and strong wind.

The National Centre for Hydrometeorology Forecasting added that Vietnam would face the first strong cold wave in mid-December.
