The National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting reported that intense rainfall swept from Danang to Khanh Hoa on November 19, with totals from 7 am to 3 pm exceeding 180 millimetres in several areas. Key readings included 181 millimetres in Buon Tang and Krong Nang in Gia Lai, 427 millimetres at Dap Tran in Dak Lak and 222 millimetres in Khanh Thuong in Khanh Hoa.
On November 20-21, eastern areas from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and northern Khanh Hoa are expected to receive 200-300 millimetres of rain, with some places forecast to surpass 500 millimetres.

Many localities in the southern central region of Vietnam are severely flooded following prolonged heavy rain.
In Danang, western parts of Quang Ngai to Dak Lak, northern Lam Dong and southern Khanh Hoa, rainfall is predicted at 70-150 millimetres, with isolated totals above 200 millimetres.
Meanwhile, northern Vietnam continues to experience cold conditions, with temperatures falling to 11-14 degrees Celsius on November 20 and dropping below 5 degrees Celsius in some high-mountain areas. Average temperatures will range from 15-17 degrees Celsius, dipping below 13 degrees Celsius in higher terrain.
From the night of November 20 to November 21, northern provinces will see lows of 12-15 degrees Celsius, with some high-mountain areas falling below 6 degrees Celsius. Average temperatures will remain between 16-18 degrees Celsius.
