Visitors to Con Phung Fish Farm in Chau Thanh District are amazed at the carp which can be fed using children's milk bottles.
The carp have been trained to respond to people's calls and eat food from bottles by the farm's owner Tran Huu Tho for over a year.
The 36-year-old farmer shared that people in his area live on fish farming and ecological tourism and he wanted to create something special to introduce to visitors.
"I decided to start training the fish to play and entertain visitors in early 2021," Tho said. "I tried with over 1,000 carp because I see that carp are unafraid of humans."
"Three months later, the fish let the first visitors feed them and touch them," Tho said. "Our farm and our carp have become famous and we are receiving hundreds of visitors every day."
A visitor, Tran Thi Loan, said that she came from the northern province of Nam Dinh and decided to visit the farm during a visit to Ben Tre.
"Me and especially the children really enjoy the time with the carps here," the visitor said. "We can feed them and touch them while they suck the dummies like children. They are so cute."
