
The inauguration of the direct Bangkok-Da Nang route
The carrier will operate four flights a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday using Airbus A319 planes.
Flights from Bangkok leave at 11:00 and arrive in Da Nang at 12:35, while flights from Da Nang take off at 13:35 and land in the Thai capital at 15:15.All passengers on Bangkok Airways are eligible to use the carrier’s own waiting rooms with free food and drink at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
The return ticket costs US$213, which will help attract Thai tourists to Da Nang and vice versa.
After the launch of the Bangkok-Da Nang route, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre collaborated with Bangkok Airways to welcome a delegation of 30 Thai travel and media agencies on a tour to learn about Da Nang’s tourism products.
Bangkok Airways is based in the Thai capital and operates flights between Thailand and Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Singapore, Maldives and Vietnam.
