"Bach Mai Mountain reported a total rainfall of 977mm during that time," Linh said. "Many sections of the road to the mountain peak were heavily damaged due to landslides so traffic has been blocked."
According to the official, it may be costly and take a long time to repair the road. This would badly affect the resumption of tourism activities in the locality as Bach Ma Mountain is a popular tourist destination.
