According to a police report, the 22-year-old tourist had a quarrel with a local man at around 8.50pm. Then they got into a fight.
The foreign tourist ran into a small lane No.186 in Bui Vien Street and the man chased after, stabbed him and fled.
Local people came and found the dead tourist and called the police.
Police said that through security cameras and witnesses they've got enough information about the murderer and are trying to arrest him.
