The Asian Development Bank said Monday it has approved a $ 100 million loan for Vietnam to upgrade its irrigation system in the Red River Delta in the country's north.
The lender said 1.9 million people living in the area will benefit from the loan.
The 32-year loan will bear an annual interest rate of 1% for the first eight years, and 1.5% for the rest of the term, the ADB said.
