On January 22, 112-year-old Le Van Nhac from the southern province of Dong Nai passes away.
He died a natural death.
According to the identification card issued by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee in 1976, Nhac was born in 1900.
Accordingly, Nhac was 112 years old.
Last year, a different man with a similar-sounding name (Huynh Van Lac, born in 1901, residing in Ho Chi Minh City) was recognized by Vietbooks as the oldest man in Vietnam.
Therefore, Van Nhac was even one year older than the recognized Van Lac.
Vietbooks is a Vietnamese agency similar to Guinness world records.
