Vietnam football team valued at EUR6.83 mln, in 17th position in Asia

The total market value of the Vietnamese men’s national football team stands at EUR6.83 million, placing them in 17th position throughout the Asian region, as calculated by website Transfermarkt.

Indonesia, another team in Southeast Asia, come ninth in Asia, with a market value of EUR16.73 million.

Elsewhere, Thailand and Malaysia, two other Southeast Asian teams, finish 19th and 20th with their respective market values of EUR6.43 million and EUR6.38 million.

Among the top 20 Southeast Asian players by market value, goalkeeper Nguyen Filip of Cong An Hanoi FC, the only Vietnamese representative to feature on the list, claimed 16th position for having a market value of EUR550,000.

Topping the Transfermarkt list is the Japanese team with a market value of EUR276.13 million, followed by the Republic of Korea at EUR168.53 million.

Moving down the list, Iran are valued at EUR46.35 million, whilst Australia are priced at EUR43.23 million.
