Unexploded shells found during martyrs' remains search

The Military Command of the central province of Quang Tri has discovered several pieces of unexploded ordnance left from the American War during a search for martyrs' remains.

The unexploded ordnances include six B40 rounds and six grenades, which were discovered in Nam Chanh Village, Hai Lang District. The military force also found three sets of martyrs' remains in the area.

These unexploded ordnances were located near a residential area, posing a significant danger. So, the military force quickly transported them to a site in Cam Lo District for safe detonation.

Since February 2, the Quang Tri Military Command have safely disposed nearly 70 explosive ordnance items.
