At exactly 9.45 pm, a combination of high and low-level fireworks illuminated the vast area surrounding My Dinh Stadium, located in Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi (Photo: Ho Hai Hoang).

The fireworks were visible even from the city centre, offering a spectacular view for those looking toward My Dinh from afar (Photo: Tien Tuan).

The display was part of a larger celebratory event featuring the grand art performance, held within the stadium to honour the nation’s historic milestone (Photo: Hai Long).

Children inside the stadium erupted with joy as the fireworks burst overhead, set against a sky filled with fluttering red flags bearing golden stars – the national emblem of Vietnam (Photo: Hai Long).

Among the thousands of attendees was Luong Hong Nhung, who eagerly posed for photos with the breathtaking fireworks display.
“This is the first time I’ve experienced such a grand and emotional performance,” she shared. “I was especially moved by the scene featuring tanks carrying soldiers. The fireworks were truly spectacular – every part of the show was powerful and deeply touching” (Photo: Hai Long).

The 15-minute firework show, featuring both high and low-altitude pyrotechnics, was launched from the F1 racetrack adjacent to My Dinh Stadium.

Earlier in the evening, tens of thousands of people flocked to My Dinh Stadium to witness the celebration, causing severe congestion along Le Quang Dao Street. Some took over an hour to escape the traffic and make their way home (Photo: Ho Hai Hoang).
Hanoi will host another major fireworks display on April 27 at Thong Nhat Park, as part of the ongoing commemorations.
