The new force, unveiled on September 1, has over 50 members stationed at posts along Thuy Van coastal road, marking an expansion of the Youth Volunteer Force's operations into the city's seaside tourism area.

Members will work with local authorities, police and relevant agencies to patrol tourist areas, assist visitors and identify or handle violations affecting public order and tourist safety.
The initiative is expected to improve the local tourism environment and promote Vung Tau as a safe and visitor-friendly destination.
The Youth Volunteer Force plans to work with other coastal wards and communes to assess and expand the scheme, helping local authorities maintain urban order, environmental cleanliness and tourist safety.
