According to a social media post that went viral on July 1, the Lao tourist group ordered four octopus skewers, two okra skewers, chicken feet, and three sausages and were initially charged VND 760,000. After questioning the price, they were refunded VND 200,000, leaving a total payment of VND 560,000.
The group's tour guide confirmed he made the post, saying he was upstairs at the time. When he came back down, a guest asked if the prices seemed too high. He added that items like grilled sausage and okra typically cost around VND 10,000 per skewer at many places in Danang.
