Pham Thi Anh Vuong will represent Vietnam at Miss Asia Pacific International.
The 22-year-old beauty stands at 1.74 metres tall with body measurement of 86-60-94 cm. She is currently a student at Sai Gon University, works as a model, and is a media ambassador at several universities.The beauty has plenty of experience in pageants, having finished among the Top 30 of Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022, finishing as a Top 15 finalist at Miss Grand Vietnam 2023, as well as winning the fourth runner-up title at Miss Grand Vietnam 2024.
The Miss Asia Pacific International pageant was first held back in 1968 under the name Miss Asia Quest. It wasn’t until 1985 that the pageant changed its name to Miss Asia Pacific Quest in order to include beauties from Asia, the Pacific, and America.
In 2005, the event was rebranded once again, becoming Miss Asia Pacific International and opening up to contestants from all across the globe.
Vietnamese representatives in the contest have achieved several notable landmarks in the past. The 2018 event saw Huynh Thuy Vi win the first runner-up place in the national costume contest of the Miss Asia Pacific International pageant.
Truong Tung Lan finished among the Top 15 of Miss Asia Pacific International 2011, whilst Hoang Thu Thao was named in the Top 6 of the 2016 pageant.
This year marks the 40th edition of the beauty pageant. It is set to begin on September 28 and its grand final is scheduled to take place in the Philippines on October 7.
