This flock of Oriental Darters consists of individuals of different ages, living in groups and often moving around the lake to seek food and resting on high branches.

Oriental Darters were first found at the tourist site in 2019, with a population of around 500. But the number has sharply fallen since then. The species is named in Group 1B of Vietnam's Red Book and is considered rare and endangered, with a high risk of extinction.
