Cat Ba releases over a million fish fries into local sea
Over a million fries of various fish species were released into the sea near Cat Ba Island in the north-eastern city of Hai Phong on March 31, aiming to regenerate and increase the diversity of fishery resources in the area.

The activity was carried out by the municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the People’s Committee of Cat Hai District.
The sea area in Cat Hai is said to see a falling number of fish, with some species on the verge of extinction.
This was among events held to celebrate the 65th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to Cat Hai District and the Cat Ba Tourism Festival 2024.
